Happy Monday folks, SEAC(R) John Wayne Troxell here. I just finished a five-mile run out here in beautiful Lakewood, Washington to get myself motivated, and this is now your #MotivationMonday brought to you by veterans Lending Group.

At anything we do in the military or in business, there’s gonna be constantly be problems that have to be solved or conflicts to have to be resolved. And the best way to do that in the most disciplined way to do that is through a process known as Problem Discussion Recommendation.

First and foremost if you are trying to recommend to the boss or the higher entity on how to solve a problem or resolve a conflict, the first thing you have to do is absolutely clearly define the problem or conflict that you are trying to resolve. And that means that you have to present it in a concise way that it is completely understood by the audience you’re presenting it to. Then you have to have a discussion, and that discussion has to include all the facts and circumstances surrounding the problem or the conflict. It has to have a holistic view and can’t be limited to just certain parts that you want recommended for change. It has to have that holistic kind of look at it. And last but not least, you have to present the necessary information to the boss or the higher entity so that they can make the best decision and then you come up with a recommendation. What is the solution to solve the problem or to resolve the conflict or what are the courses of action that you’re giving the boss so that they have options to decide what direction to go? And don’t forget in those courses of action to rank order them from the most recommended to the least recommended to solve the problem.

Hey, as I said before anything we do in business and in the military, there will be problems in conflict and the most disciplined and the absolute best approach to solve them is through the Problem, Discussion, and Recommendation process. Hey folks, don’t forget #GetWithTheMovement, you got to stay PMC Hard!

Take care of yourselves, your health, and the health of your families. God bless you all. Have a great week! Boom!
