Josh moved to Clarksville as a military dependent and has lived here for over 30 years. He has over 20 years experience in the financial services and consumer lending industry where he had the opportunity to help active duty soldiers and veterans meet their financial needs. He has an Associate Degree in Business, a Bachelor’s in Accounting, and is a Certified Public Administrator through the University of Tennessee Institute for Public Service. He has one son, Matthew, that recently graduated from Kenwood High School.
His passion is serving the people of the Clarksville community. Josh has worked with several local nonprofits and serves in leadership roles for many of them. He is a 2017 graduate of Leadership CMCSS and a 2018 graduate of Leadership Clarksville. In 2019, he was commissioned a Kentucky Colonel by Governor Matt Bevin for his contributions to military families and his volunteer work in the community.
He currently serves as a Montgomery County Commissioner representing the St. Bethlehem area and was re-elected to a second term in August 2022. He has also been voted “Best Elected Official in Montgomery County” in the Main Street Clarksville Awards and “Montgomery County’s Favorite Elected Official” in the Leaf Chronicle Readers Choice Awards for four years in a row in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022.
